Multiple nonprofits received funding from Community Partnership Foundation

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Sixteen nonprofits across York County have more funds to help residents, courtesy of the Community Partnership Foundation.

Our partners at CN2 News went to Wednesday’s event, where the foundation gave out $30,000 worth of grants during its spring luncheon in Rock Hill.

Haven Men’s Shelter and Pathways of Rock Hill were two organizations that were awarded funding, CN2 reports.

Janet Hadjar, from the Community Partnership Foundation, spoke to CN2 about what a great opportunity this event was.

We’ve been giving out grants for years; this is the first time we’ve opened it to the public. We’ve turned it into a feel-good fundraiser for York County.” Hadjar said, “We’ve seen business cards exchanged, or, oh, I need to talk to you after. It’s a really good networking opportunity.”

The Family Trust said they would match every donation made at Wednesday’s luncheon, CN2 reports.
