North Carolina’s budget is now in the hands of Governor Josh Stein.
On Thursday, state lawmakers in the House and Senate gave final approval. The budget passed in bipartisan fashion.
Mecklenburg County Democratic State Senator Woodson Bradley was one of 8 Democrats in the state Senate to vote in favor of the budget.
Governor Josh Stein has 10 days to sign the budget, veto it, or allow it to become law without his signature.
