CHARLOTTE, N.C. — An Atlanta real estate group recently closed on a land acquisition in Steele Creek and plans to break ground on apartments there next month.
Pollack Shores Real Estate Group last week acquired about 30 acres at 5724 Dixie River Road for $5.6 million, according to Mecklenburg County real estate records. At the site, which sits near Berewick Town Center and Interstate 485, Pollack Shores will develop a 350-unit apartment community, its fifth in the Charlotte market.
The garden-style development will include 12 buildings and amenities like a pool, fitness center and clubhouse. Units will include granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and plank wood-finish floors.
Palmer McArthur, vice president of development at Pollack Shores, said the Steele Creek community is poised to capitalize on the “tremendous growth” happening in southwest Charlotte.
