CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Construction started Tuesday on the new Blue line, blocking East Ninth Street between North College and North Brevard streets through April 10.
East Eighth Street has been closed between College and Brevard streets since last March for the Blue Line construction as well as lane closures on East Seventh Street at North Brevard for First Ward redevelopment and light rail construction.
East Fifth Street is reduced to one lane between Brevard and Caldwell streets, with lane restrictions on Trade Street between College and Brevard streets.
