CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. — A local nonprofit is hosting the first-ever Suicide Awareness 5K in Cabarrus County.
The event, put on by Big-E Life Changer’s Inc. will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 16 at the Gibson Mills (Cabarrus Brewing Company).
Through partnerships with local mental health providers like Cabarrus Health Alliance, Daymark Recovery Services, and New Phase Counseling the nonprofit will be able to provide community resources and support.
