North Carolina sports betting hits $13 billion in two years

RALEIGH — North Carolina bettors have wagered more than $13 billion in the two years since sports betting became legal in the state.

The state has collected more than $262 million in tax revenue from operators during the 24-month span.

Bettors in the state wagered more than $581 million, which is up 10% from last February.
