CORNELIUS, N.C. — Novant Health is planning its first standalone emergency room in Cornelius.
According to the Charlotte Observer, Novant is asking for permission from the state to build there.
However, the location of the facility remains unknown.
A public hearing regarding the possibility is expected to be held on Dec. 18 at the Allegra Westbrooks Library along Beatties Ford Road.
