LINCOLNTON, N.C. — A person died Saturday morning after a traumatic injury at RSI Home Products in Lincolnton, according to the Lincoln County EMS.
A man was taken to Carolinas Medical Center – Lincoln with life-threatening injuries and died at the hospital.
Lincoln County Sheriff David M. Carpenter said his office was investigating a work-related death at RSI. Carpenter said the victim's family has been notified, but they had no name to release yet.
Industrial-related agencies will likely investigate as well as the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, officials said.
