CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Drivers who use Old Dowd Road in west Charlotte will have to take a detour this week.
Crews are repairing the railroad crossing west of Interstate 485.
They are closing it down at 9 p.m. Sunday.
Drivers will detour from Sam Wilson Road to Wilkinson Boulevard.
Construction should wrap up by the end of the month.
