Over half dozen students suspended for fight club

SWAIN COUNTY, N.C. — More than half a dozen North Carolina students were suspended for an organized fight club inside a high school.

Students said their gym teacher knew about the fighting inside Swain County High School, but turned a blind eye to it.

The ring has been going on for about a month.

"He knew about it, Coach Outlaw. He told us not to video it because it would get out. He said that he could get in trouble for it and not to show it to anybody if we had videos," said Jeremaih Hampton.

The school claims the teacher did not know about the fighting.
