Pam Tebow to speak at Statesville event

Tebow Time is coming to Statesville.
Pam Tebow, mother of NFL quarterback Tim Tebow, will be speaking at a ladies’ luncheon to benefit Power Cross Ministries on March 29.

STATESVILLE, N.C.,None — Women are invited to share a meal and hear from Pam about how God has used the lives of her family to impact people. The event will be held at the newly opened Bella Grace Event Center in downtown Statesville, located at 211 W. Front St. The doors open at 11 a.m. and Pam will be available for a 30 minute meet-and-greet photo opportunity. At 11:30 a.m., lunch will be served and the program, titled "Living a Life of Impact," begins.

Power Cross co-founder Natalie Storment will speak about the work the nonprofit does spreading a Christian message to young men in Iredell County as well. Power Cross reaches out to children in the county through athletics, tutoring and
character-building after-school programs. It currently serves about 130 young men.
Tickets cost $25. Contact Storment at 704-402-8011 or at pat@powercross.org to purchase. All of the ticket sales will benefit Power Cross. There are a limited number of tickets available.
Pam regularly speaks to women’s groups and at nonprofit fundraisers across the country. She is also currently working on a book about parenting.

The accomplishments of Tim, their fifth and youngest child, have allowed for Pam and her husband Bob, founder of the Bob Tebow Evangelistic Association (BTEA), to reach a wider audience with their message. Bob started BTEA while he and his
wife were missionaries in the Philippines in 1985.
Pam and Bob Tebow have also been running an orphanage in the Philippines since 1992, called "Uncle Dick's Home."

It is now home to 50 orphans and 13 staff.
BTEA also employs 50 full-time Filipino evangelists, each one of whom is assigned to a specific province in the Philippines for church-building and ministering.
