Passengers on a Greyhound bus from Charlotte to Atlanta said they were stuck on the side of Interstate 85 for hours.
They were about an hour outside of Charlotte in South Carolina when they broke down.
A passenger told Channel 9 they were stuck for about five hours with no food and no power.
“Everyone's hungry, everyone's tired, everyone wants to go home,” the passenger said. “Everyone's unsure about when our bus is going to come.”
Greyhound officials said its relief bus was able to pick up the 37 passengers just before 10 p.m.
Officials said because of the busy Easter weekend, it took a while to get that bus to them.
