Pedestrian struck, killed by car overnight in Caldwell County

CALDWELL COUNTY, N.C. — North Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed overnight west of Lenoir.

The incident happened just after midnight on Beecher Anderson road.

Highway Patrol is expected to release more information Tuesday afternoon.
