Person seriously hurt after being hit by forklift in east Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A person was seriously hurt Wednesday morning after being hit by a forklift in east Charlotte, according to police.

The incident happened just before 7:30 a.m. near the intersection of Albemarle Road and Lemmond Farm Drive.

Police said the person was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
