GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — Police are investigating two separate deadly crashes in Gaston County -- one on Friday night and the other early Saturday morning.
The first happened around 6:30 p.m. Friday on South New Hope Road.
Police said a driver pulled out in front of Chadwick Rush while he was riding a motorcycle.
Rush was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Authorities have not said if anyone will face charges.
The second deadly crash happened around 1:45 a.m. Saturday on South New Hope Road at Dixon Avenue.
Gaston County police said Victoria Hanif was speeding, drove off the road and flipped the car.
She died at the scene.
