CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police confirmed they’re investigating a shootout after they were called to an assault with a deadly weapon in north Charlotte Wednesday afternoon.
Officers responded to Moretz Avenue, not far from North Graham Street.
They said a car had crashed, and the 911 caller told police the driver left the scene before officers arrived.
It’s unclear if anyone was hurt.
