GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — The Gastonia Police Department is investigating multiple reports of people stealing gumball machines around the area.
There have been four gumball machine thefts since Dec. 19. Two were at Jackson's Cafeteria on East Franklin Boulevard, one at the Habitat Restore and the latest Saturday at Golden Corral on East Franklin Boulevard.
Police said there is not good surveillance video or descriptions of the people who stole the machines.
If anyone has information on the thefts, they can call Crime Stoppers of Gaston County at 704-861-8000. Crime Stoppers pays up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
