BEECH MOUNTAIN, N.C. — Levi Hicks was charged with murder in the investigation of a woman’s murder in the North Carolina mountains.
Breaking Watauga Co-police are confirming tonight that an arrested has been made in the death of Betsy Dellinger. On Friday, around 3:30 p.m., police in Beech Mountain received a 911 call about an unresponsive woman on Upper Holiday Lane.
When officers got to the scene, they found the woman lying on the floor and not breathing.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators have identified her as 43-year-old Betsy Dellinger.
