CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man accused of robbing a PNC Bank in University City is in jail.
Police said Tony Combs held up the bank on East W.T. Harris Boulevard around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
When police arrived on the scene, they said Combs took off on foot.
Officers chased after him and made an arrest.
Channel 9 found Combs has an extensive criminal record.
He has been arrested at least five times for charges including kidnapping, assault and resisting arrest.
