CHARLOTTE — Cantina 1511 has shuttered its south Charlotte location after nearly a decade.
The lease on that roughly 7,000-square-foot restaurant in the Stonecrest shopping complex was set to expire at the end of July, said Dick Campbell, president and CEO of Quantum Development.
“We made a decision to go ahead and not reopen and just let that lease expire,” he said.
He’s secured a 4,700-square-foot space — formerly a Ruby Tuesday — a little over a mile away in Toringdon Circle.
“We think the dynamics of this location are better,” he said.
