ANSON COUNTY, N.C. — The prison worker accused of helping a murderer escape from an Anson County prison is out of jail on bond.
Kendra Miller was released from the Anson County jail Thursday on a $500,000 bond.

Investigators said she helped Kristopher McNeil escape from the Brown Creek Correctional Institution last week.
They said she waited for him in a car outside the prison, drove him away and gave him a cellphone.
