CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The next property revaluation will happen sooner than originally expected.
[County commissioners limited in offering property tax relief]
Mecklenburg County commissioners unanimously voted Tuesday night to hold the next revaluation in 2023 rather than of 2027.
Moving up the date may prevent sticker shock for some families, which could come with revaluations happening every eight years.
