Raising Cane’s has three restaurants under development across the Charlotte market.
The Texas-based chain says its hand-battered chicken tenders, house-made Cane’s sauce, and crinkle-cut fries can soon be found in Gastonia, Pineville, and Concord.
Its Gastonia and Concord Mills locations are slated to open in 2027, with the Pineville restaurant still in the permitting process, a spokesperson confirmed to our partners at the Charlotte Business Journal. All three sites have active job postings for restaurant manager and assistant manager on the Raising Cane’s website.
A spokesperson says construction is underway on a restaurant in the Franklin Square Shopping Center in Gastonia. Gaston County has issued a $1.6 million building permit for a 3,252-square-foot restaurant. Raising Cane’s says that restaurant will include a drive-thru and patio.
At Concord Mills, Raising Cane’s is constructing a new building at 8041 Concord Mills Blvd. A Cabarrus County building permit has been issued for nearly $2.8 million.
Raising Cane’s has a third planned location at Carolina Place mall that is still in permitting, though an update should be available this fall, the spokesperson says.
