HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Rebuilding Together of Greater Charlotte received a $64,500 grant from Wells Fargo today to provide essential home repairs at no cost to five homes in Huntersville.
The funding is part of the 2026 Wells Fargo Builds program, a $1.1 million nationwide initiative providing home repairs and accessibility modifications across 30 communities. The effort focuses on assisting older adults, veterans and other residents in need.
Dozens of Wells Fargo volunteers are completing improvements on the five Huntersville properties as part of Rebuilding Together of Greater Charlotte’s Fall Rebuilding Week. Volunteer work includes repairing ramps, installing new flooring, applying weather stripping, painting, power washing and clearing brush.

Rebuilding Together of Greater Charlotte and partner contractors will perform additional specialized structural repairs to help families remain safely in their homes. These major projects include roofing and foundation work, HVAC replacements, electrical and plumbing upgrades, as well as new window and flooring installations.
