IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — UPDATE: Phones lines going into the 911 communications center in Iredell County were down around 11 a.m. Tuesday.
The problem was fixed by noon. Officials said there is an issue somewhere on the line.
Officials told residents to go to a local fire station for emergencies. Fire crews have communications with the sheriff’s office.
Residents can also call the office number at 704-878-3072 or 704-878-3180 for emergencies.
In Mooresville, residents can call Mooresville Police directly at 704-664-3311. All five fire stations are also manned.
