LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. — A road was shut down Friday night as troopers investigated a fatal crash in Lincoln County.
The accident happened along Smyre Farm Road, officials said.
It's not clear whether the driver died from cardiac arrest or from the wreck.
U.S. Highway 321, one mile north of Exit 20, is expected to be closed until after midnight.
