HICKORY, N.C. — Dozens of golfers will swarm a Conover golf course that was severely damaged after the summer's severe flooding.
In July, eight holes at Rock Barn Golf and Spa were under several feet of water.
Part of a bridge was washed away.
Crews have worked around the clock ever since, preparing for the greater Hickory Classic that starts on Monday.
The course has spent nearly $1 million on repairs.
