Roughly 500 Appalachian State students stay at hotels Tuesday

WATAUGA COUNTY, N.C. — Students started classes again on Tuesday at Appalachian State in Watauga County.

Channel 9 found out that more than 500 students are staying in hotels Tuesday night.

Officials said a new development, the Cottages of Boone, are not completed at this time.

The developer said the wet weather this summer delayed work.
