Schools to operate on two-hour delays due to dangerously cold temperatures

NORTH CAROLINA — Brutally cold, artic air is set to take over the Charlotte metro overnight, with the high country likely dropping to the single digits.

Counties in North Carolina have already starting responding.

Schools in Avery, Ashe and Watauga counties are operating on two-hour delays Monday, Dec. 15.
