Self-serve taproom opening in Plaza Midwood this summer

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — This self-serve concept will bring 120 taps — half dedicated to N.C. and local brews — to Plaza Midwood.

Pour Taproom Charlotte has snagged space at 1212 Central Ave.

Owner James Lunney expects that venture to open in August.

“Plaza Midwood is such a cool location for a taproom like this,” he says.

Expect a selection of beer from across the globe to be on tap, with a rotating selection and seasonal offerings. Local brews will be emphasized, but there also will be taps for red and white wine, prosecco, water and root beer.
