CHARLOTTE — The Dunavant is closing in South End next month after more than four years in business, with future development hinted at the site.
That 3,500-square-foot restaurant at 2322 Dunavant St. will close its doors after brunch service on Sept. 3, it announced on social media this week, thanking patrons for their support during its four-and-a-half-year run. The post also said that the owners had been bought out of their lease, and a future development there is in the works.
“We have been bought out of our lease to eventually make way for a new development to be announced at some point in the distant future,” the Facebook post reads.
