Stadium makeover moves forward with city, Tepper Sports partnership

CHARLOTTE — The multi-million dollar Bank of America Stadium makeover is one step closer to becoming a reality.

The Charlotte City Council approved financing $650 million towards the project. Tepper Sports said it will fund the remaining $150 million.

The plan calls for new seats, expanding concourses, and more.

Renovations and improvements will begin next year and run through 2030.
