State law enforcement agents investigate Mooresville bar

MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Employees at a Mooresville bar have been accused of using drugs on the job.

Federal agents made the discovery at Apps and Taps during a statewide operation targeting nightclubs.

North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement agents investigated the business over the weekend for alcohol and drug violations.

At least one employee was possessing marijuana while on the job.

Several bartenders were accused of overserving drunk patrons.

It was part of a statewide operation by the ALE, which resulted in more than 220 arrests connected to alcohol, drug and other felony charges.
