RALEIGH — Sun Bucks are returning this summer in North Carolina
The program gives eligible students a 120 dollar debit-like card to buy food when school is out.
Applications are being processed now, and cards are being mailed out.
However, North Carolina Public Schools said most students who qualify will be automatically enrolled and get an email, text, or call.
Benefits will load into cards on June. 1, the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services stated.
