Swarm of bees on engine delay American Airlines flight

CHARLOTTE — A lot of things can delay a flight.

Including a swarm of bees.

We obtained a video from onboard an American Airlines plane at Charlotte Douglas Airport last week.

The passenger who recorded the video says an airport crew had to remove the bees from one of the engines before they could leave for San Francisco.

He says it delayed the trip about an hour.
