CHARLOTTE, N.C. — This company will have your tailgate set up faster than you can say ‘go Niners.’
Alright, that may be an overstatement, but Tailgate Guys does promise to have a tent with tables and chairs ready before you set foot on campus for a game.
UNC Charlotte recently entered into a partnership with Tailgate Guys, the tailgate management service that simplifies game days for fans by reserving their lot, setting up the party and taking it down when it’s over. It also supplies coolers of ice, personalized signs, linens and more, depending on the package. Fans can coordinate catering through the service, and there are even bellhops to unload cars — if you’ll need one.
“People riding the light rail who don’t have parking, for instance, they can contact Tailgate Guys and have a tailgate area set up for them,” says Thomas Whitestone, the school’s associate athletic director. “All they have to do is take the rail to the game.”
Packages start at $250 and go up to $1,700 for individual games. Full seasons can be purchased at a 35% discount.
