CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A teenager is in the hospital after he almost drowned during swim team practice.
Coaches pulled the 17-year-old out of the pool at the Mecklenburg Aquatic Center in south Charlotte Tuesday.
They gave him CPR until paramedics arrived.
They have not said what caused the boy to go under water.
