CONCORD, N.C. — Two teenagers stole a gun and a car. They got caught when the car broke down on the interstate, Concord police said.

Jamel Allen and an underage teen were walking along the median on Interstate 85.

Officers went to assist them and noticed a gun, for which he did not have a valid permit, inside Allen's pocket.

The vehicle was later recovered.
