Time Warner Cable warns customers of suspicious emails

Time Warner Cable's rating improved four points from 2011 to 2012, but just to 63/100, according to the American Customer Satisfaction Index.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Time Warner Cable is asking customers to be on high alert for suspicious emails bearing the company's name.

One email claims that an upcoming payment is due while another says you've earned free pay-per-view movies.

Time Warner Cable said those movies are not from the company and it doesn't believe any personal information was used to generate e-mails, but the company says to delete them immediately.
