CHARLOTTE — Chalk up another accolade for The Ivey’s Hotel in uptown Charlotte. The luxury, boutique hotel is named among 25 properties nationwide that are deemed the “Best of the Best” by Tripadvisor.
The Ivey’s, tucked into a historic building in the heart of center city, is No. 14 on the list.
“Originally the home of J.B. Ivey & Company Department Store, the Ivey’s 47-room boutique hotel is in the center of Charlotte’s energetic central business and sports district and the area’s most esteemed cultural venues and dining establishments,” the Traveler’s Choice feature reads. It notes the hotel’s pet-friendly policy, concierge service and restaurant — The Ivey’s, at 127 N. Tryon St., is home to Sophia’s Lounge.
The hotel is no stranger to the spotlight, having racked up numerous accolades since its debut in 2017.
