Troopers increase enforcement on NC highways as holiday travel continues

IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — The roads are busy as people travel for the holidays. And more travelers typically equals more law enforcement.

Channel 9′s Dave Faherty spoke with troopers who said there will be more of them out on the roads.

Troopers said the goal is to make sure everyone gets to their destination safely.

From Interstate 40 to Highway 321, traffic is expected to increase as the day goes on.
