Troopers rescued a person who drove their car drove into a Standy County creek Monday morning, officials said.
The creek is on Five Points Road at Ridgecrest Road.
Officials said the victim was standing on top of the car waiting for rescuers.
Crews are working to recover the car.
The incident is west of Albemarle and north of Locust.
