CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Watoto Children's Choirs from Kampala, Uganda performed at a Charlotte church Saturday and Sunday.
The choir members use song and dance to raise awareness to the issues many African children face. All of the children in the choir have lost their parents due to war or disease.
The choir performed at all four services this weekend at Freedom House Church on Salome Church Road.
The choirs have traveled to Uganda, Kenya, South Africa, Australasia, Canada, UK, Germany, France, United States, South America, Hong Kong, China and Japan.
