WATAUGA COUNTY, N.C. — According to the Watauga Democrat, students in Watauga County will have longer school days in the next school year.
The Board of Education voted Monday night for two time extensions.
Students from kindergarten to eighth grade will have 25 more minutes.
High school students will have 10 more minutes.
The move is recommended by Superintendent Dr. Leslie Alexander.
