CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The affordable housing crisis in Charlotte is an issue Channel 9 has been investigating for years, and we’re dedicated to being a part of the solution.
Channel 9 spoke to families moving to the area who can not find a home, families worried they will lose their place to live and residents living in unimaginable conditions because they can not afford to look elsewhere.
Channel 9 spoke with city leaders and housing experts trying to tackle this complicated issue.
Charlotte was facing an affordable housing crisis and then, COVID-19 hit. Now, even more families can’t pay rent.
