Water gushes out of road in Concord during water main break

CONCORD, N.C. — Crews are fixing a major water main break in Concord.

City officials said it broke around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday on Highway 29 near Pitt School Road.

The water main break is affecting some customers between Rocky River Bridge and Carpenter Court, city officials said.

There is no estimated time on when it will be fixed.
