HICKORY, N.C. — A wheelchair-accessible tree house will open Tuesday at the Zahra Baker "All Children's Playground."
The Hickory playground is named after the 10-year-old girl killed by her stepmother.
Developers want the park to be accessible to children of all abilities. Zahra Baker had a prosthetic leg and hearing aids after surviving bone cancer.
