ROCK HILL, S.C. — Officers with Fort Mill police were called by South Carolina Highway Patrol about a woman armed with a knife at a Lowe's Home Improvement store, according to a police report.
The officers found a trooper had the woman, Patricia Koon, at Taser point. The officers drew their weapons and asked the woman to drop the knife. According to the report, the woman told the trooper to "stay away or I will hurt you. I don't know who you are."
Another trooper approached Koon from behind and knocked the knife from her hand, according to the report. She was then secured in handcuffs.
Koon was taken to the Fort Mill Police Department. She was charged with assault and third-degree battery. Her bond was set at $1,000. She is still in jail at the Police Department.
