CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. — A woman has been charged with felony death by motor vehicle a week after a fatal crash involving her van and a motorcycle.
Jessica Flynn crossed the center line on Lowrance Road and crashed into former Catawba County detention officer Randy Holmes' motorcycle, deputies said.
Holmes died at the scene.
Two young children were inside Flynn's van when it crashed.

Flynn was also charged with DUI, reckless driving, driving left of center, possession of drug paraphernalia, child restraint violation and misdemeanor child abuse.
Flynn is being held at the Catawba County Detention Center under a $100,000 bond.
One child suffered minor injuries.
