York Co. deputies arrest one of county's most wanted

YORK COUNTY, S.C. — In York County, deputies said they locked up one of their top 5 most wanted people.

Demario Adams was arrested Wednesday.

He was wanted for leaving the scene of an accident, driving with a suspended license and two family court warrants.

Deputies said Adams led them on a short chase before they captured him off Highway 5 in western York County.

Police said he had marijuana with him at the time of the arrest.
